Vintage Design
D70 sofa bed by Osvaldo Borsani for Tecno. The Italian firm was founded by the Borsani twins in 1953. It will appear the following year to the Triennale with its first project for the firm the D70, winning the Compasso d’Oro for this creation considering a masterpiece. Tecno always publishes the model with the possibility of having a version with the chrome base.
Its structure consists of a seat and a folded back of polyurethane foam and covered with yellow fabric. This model has an opening system operating thanks to a tooth circular lever that is blocked in a plate present on each side. Allowing to fix the opening to the desired position. The base is made of black metal.
In very good condition, entirely to reteprate in our workshop.
