Vintage Design
Large, representative salon table, so-called “table de milieu” made of carved and French Grey painted wood, manufactured in the period around 1880: on four curved legs with rocaille carving and volute feet fitting curved frame, on the long sides with finely carved rocaille motifs. Slightly curved table top with rounded corners made of gray marbled wood, so-called “faux marbre”. Between the legs in the lower part of the table curved ornamental struts with central free carved rocaille motif. Exceptionally decorative salon table with very fine carving and beautiful “faux marbre” work, perfect as a center table for a large hall or salon and can also be used as a dining table. Condition: very good, min. signs of age and use.
