Vintage Design
A rare early edition 3-seater sofa / sleeping bench designed by Martin Visser, manufactured by ‘t Spectrum in the Netherlands around 1960.
This is a beautiful piece has a high quality black lacquered metal base in square finish. The mechanism to convert the sofa into a bed is unique to this early model, in which you can fold back the backrest and a chain mechanism will flatten the seat, as shown in photos. It is upholstered in gray fabric, really nicely complimenting the piece and giving it a wonderful modern appearance that will smoothly blend into many kinds of decors! As a finishing touch, it comes with a matching armrest pillow.
The sofa remains in very good, vintage condition with only minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
