Amazing, organic shaped sofa by Wiener Werkstätte, Austria 1970s. A rare custom made design in the 1970s with each sofa to be a masterpiece. These one-of-a-kind sofas are to be recognized by its rounded organic shaped cushions laid out in a playful, asymmetrical way.
This particular sofa comes in three parts, which can be hooked together to create a corner sofa, and a matching ottoman made to fit playfully in the corner, or besides on of the rounded sides. Executed in a beautiful textured beige melange fabric creating almost like a “soft stone” look. with the backrest being cleverly attached to the base, the sofa can be beautifully placed freely in the room and can be admired from any side and offer great support. A highly comfortable sofa to relax and lounge in.
