Modor “Nonna”, designed by Paul Tuttle in 1972 for Strässle International, Switzerland. The materials used in this chair are an attractive combination of tubular chrome, ebonized curved wood, beige canvas and Swiss cow skin. The seat and backup are formed by a thick canvas that is fixed to the frame with a large buckle and a strap to which beef skin is sewn. Chromium is bright, without bites and the black ebonized curved wood frame has no splinters. The thick leather upholstery is soft, worn and free of tears or tears. For all these reasons, the Nonna armchair is the modern interpretation of a rocking chair, very high quality. Paul Tuttle (1934 – 2002) was an American interior and furniture designer known for his elegant and modern pieces. He combined materials such as leather, metal, chrome and glass.
