Boris Tabacoff Scimitar chairs for ‘Mobilier Modulaire Moderne’ (MMM), France, 1960s. Set of 2. Boris Tabacoff is well known for his futuristic-looking pieces during the 1960s. These ‘Scimitar” chairs have been professionally reupholstered in a boucle fabric by Dedar Milano. The heavy chrome-plated steel moon-shaped base is typical of the designs of Boris Tabacoff.
