True code to minimalism and Norwegian purity, this Scandinavian Svane teak daybed accompanies you both – day and night. Svane daybed or sofa was designed by Ingmar Relling for Ekornes and manufactured in the 1970s. It has a sleeping function while fully unfolded and also features a compartment for sheets and blankets underneath. The side table moves smoothly up and down and has a specific stopping point.
Solid teak frame combine with original, well preserved, checkered wool upholstery in beige colour with brown and ecru accents gives a mid century look. Almost taken away from Mad Men scene. Perfect for any living room, office space or vintage style lounge.
The daybed has been checked by our team. We have made sure that all mechanisms work properly. The upholstery is almost perfect we still cleaned it. We treated the wood with professional compounds, and preserved with Danish Oil.
We leave minor signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetic and only confirm it is originality.
